Hellish week, but it's almost over. Now that it's halfway through the semester, I have a total of 11 cards done with 11 to go. It's a relief that I'm still on track.

(abrupt change, structure/dogma needs to be torn down to make way for the new)

(rewards/reprimands for past actions, liberation, achievement or regret)

(strength of spirit, sacrifice to achieve something greater)

(harvest, fertility, potential fulfilled, power, union)

I have returned

I apologize for the lack of blogging. This semester has been crazy. Four academics and two studios? What was I thinking??
So here are a couple of tarot cards (in acrylic and gouache) from my Junior Thesis class. At this moment, 3 more of my cards are being displayed on the 3rd floor of bunting in the junior illustration show.

The Moon (illusion, dreams, fluctuation)

Merry X-mas to you, and a happy holiday, however you celebrate.
I must have been a very good girl this year, because I got a load of stuff this year, including a vacuum and several dvd's (I'm spoiled). But I know what you're thinkin, blah blah blah, just get to the artwork already. I try to keep my little writings brief because, unless I'm John K, no one's gonna bother to read it. I shan't dissapoint you, so without further ado, here are my two newest Threadless submissions.
