finally ... stuff!

Whew! This semester sure is taking a lot outta me! But it's so much fun. I have sequential art AND character development. Soon I will have a post with the comics I've done for sequential.
I now present to you the first sketches for a project in which we design characters for a tv show. My show spins a tale of romance, elegance, and refinement . . . aw who am I kidding . . . it's about godzilla monsters!

Here's my (sort of) main character, Gabe.

Short for Gabrion, Devourer of Innocent Souls.


The one on the right is Laurilla.

I'm back online.

My apartment is now internet-equipped. finally.
So to celebrate, here's a preview of my new comic project, written mostly by me. I must give some of the credit to my buddy Paul. I plan to include many many people from mica in the course of this comic, so if any of my classmates see this and don't want to be included for some reason, let me know. Otherwise, your face will be crammed in there somewhere, at some point.
Also, if anyone has any amusing college or mica topics they want me to touch on in my comic, feel free to give me ideas, and I will give you credit.

Homeward Bound

At the moment, right now, this very second, I am in the lovely garden state for a little relaxation time. Hopefully, by the time I get back to Charm City I'll be bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and fit as a fiddle; ready to work harder than I ever thought possible. I see a great deal of inking, scanning, and photoshopping in my immediate future, and damn it, I'm determined to capture my destiny.

I'm not dead, I swear.

Even though no one reads my blog, I feel I need to explain myself. Now that I have a job, it's been a surprisingly busy summer. I've actually been sketching a lot, but because of a lack of stable internet in my new apartment, I don't have the means to update anything. I guess what I'm trying to say is, pretty soon I'll make a giganteriffic post full of all the crap I've been working on in the past few months.
